Bottle 1192 - Bomschuit Ship in a Bottle

This is a model of a Bomschuit built in a bottle. These ships did not have a port. The ship has two masts and is twice as long as is wide. The hull is made in two parts and has a keel, stern and stem and planking. The deck features include floats (gurnard) chimney on the front part of the deck, capstan, bilge keel whit deck beam and anchor (2) ankers, 2 oars, pump and more. The masts are made of 2 mm Beech wood. The ship is mounted on two dowel supports inside the bottle. The bottle rests on a custom made stand with six ornately carved and shaped legs.
