Date Added: 02 October 2006

This is a model of the ship "Yarmouth" sailing on a sea of blue with white caps. The hull of the ship is red on the bottom with the top part of the hull painted black with three thin white stripes. The ship has raised bulwarks painted white on the inside. The main deck is natural wood and is full of features dominated by a large multiple deck extending from mid-ship to stern. These decks are painted white with black portholes painted on. There are eight brown hatches toward the front of the upper deck and two small black stacks with a single red stripe near the top with black rigging lines to secure the stacks. There is a large and very detailed lifeboat mounted on the end of the lower deck. There is a large single black with red stripe smoke stack in the middle of the deck with two large vent pipes on each side. In front of these decks and mid-ship is a two story pilot's steering cabin. The lower level of this cabin is brown and the top painted white with large black windows. A white and red life saver is mounted on the lower cabin. On the main ship deck in the bow section are many deck features including hatches, davit, stacks, and more. The ship has two well proportioned masts with spars. Each mast has one large sail with stitch lines shown. The masts are rigged with both standing and running rigging. Each mast has shroud lines and ratlines. The rigging is very detailed and accurate for the model. The bottle is sealed with the original metal screw cap. On top of the bottle is a small black plaque that reads: "Yarmouth 1918 Steve Moseley 2002"
