Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

This tanker project 19900 was made to order for a shipbuilding company. Their condition was that the model fills the maximum volume of the bottle. To do this I had to separate along the body into four parts - both horizontally and vertically. It is also very difficult to operate in a bottle with tweezers or other commonly used tools to build the hull so the individual parts inside the bottle I had to design and manufacture special-arm clamp. Length of the body model is 265 mm, the width of the body - 25 mm, inner diameter of the bottleneck - 21 mm, inner diameter of the bottle 54 mm, length 280 mm bottles. Scale model 1:530 model made of wood and plastic. Manufacture date November 2010
