Bottle 1119 - Nautilus
Date Added: 05 February 2014

This is a model of Jules Verne's "Nautilus" completed by Henny Frqansen in 2013. He tells us: "On the internet I found drawings of this vessel made by Dave Warren. These watercolored paintings formed the inspiration for my model. As you can see the hull is made of several parts, including the superstructure on top of the hull. The rivets were made of steel pins. All details were painted silver and after drying washed with black paint, details were painted gold. In front of the deckstructure there is a small conningtower and some more to the stern there is a searchlight. In the midships, on both sides, the divinggplanes are situated. The model is fitted in a 0,75 ltr Johny Walker bottle."
