Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

This is a wonderful and very accurate model of a piper club built in a bottle. The airplane is at rest on a bed of grass. The airplane is painted in a bright yellow color and has "NC1173" painted on the wing. The piper cub has all of the wing struts and wheel suspension springs as the actual airplane. The bottle is sealed with a wonderfully carved head of an old time pilot with a cap and brim, sunglasses, and a scarf around his neck.
