Tim Ray Fisher was born on November 7, 1969, in Goshen, Indiana. His ancestors are Mennonite and Amish and he learned various arts and crafts during his childhood and teenage years, and was introduced to whimsy bottles by his mother.
He lived a few years in San Diego, California, and in 2017 he moved to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, to be near relatives and where he continues to make artwork. Tim is disabled and started making whimsy bottles in 2017 using found vintage bottles with current and found items to place inside to create scenes. He creates the whimsy bottles and other artwork as a form of art therapy.
Bottle #1301 was inspired by Amos Beiler of Narvon, Pennsylvania.
