Bottle 935 - Blacksmith Scene in a Bottle |
---|
Date Added: 14 May 2016
This is a scene of a blacksmith using his mallet to flatten a piece of metal on an anvil. All items in the bottle are in natural wood. The man is well carved and shows him in a newsboy cap and bibbed apron. He has a cigar stub in his mouth. He is standing on a wooden floor supported by two risers secured to the glass. The anvil is resting on what looks to be an upside down bucket or tub with rungs around the top and bottom. Beside it is another bucket with rungs and a wooden handle.
