Bottle 888 - Ocean Liner in a bottle |
---|
Date Added: 02 July 2014
This highly detail and wonderfully made Ocean Liner or Cruise Ship built in a bottle was built between 1933 and 1965. The bottle is unidentified, but it does have the following wording in raised letters on the glass "Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-Use of this Bottle." The ship appears is flying an American Flag and there are wonderful details throughout, including 16 lifeboats and a large smoke stack with black and gray smoke billowing out. The bottle has a greenish tint to the glass.
