This is a picture frame in a bottle with postcards shown on each side. The post cards are framed in a wood dowel type frame. The corners of the frame are interlocked. There is a post card picture on the front and back inside the frame. The picture showing small boats is titled, "Atalanta Rogers City lake. Chas. Knudsen." The picture of hills and farmland is titled, “White River east of Rogers, Ark." The frame is made with slots holding the frames together. The bottle is a screw top with "Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re-use of this Bottle. Lake Atalanta - In 1935 prominent Rogers businessman O.L. Gregory donated land a mile east of downtown Rogers to the City to build a lake named in honor of his wife Atalanta. In Greek mythology, Atalanta was a beautiful and swift-footed huntress. Lake Atalanta was created in 1936 when the Works Project Administration (WPA) built a high, earthen dam across Prairie Creek.
