Date Added: 01 October 2005
This is a very attractive and well done model of a carved fan in a bottle. The fan is carved from one piece of wood and has very decorative blades. The individual blades of the fan interlock and the ones near the center have a blue dot on each. The piece it is carved from is from a long dowel like piece of wood and is mounted on a carved base. The base is decorated with a simple painted design. The bottle is sealed with a long wooden shaft that is painted in design work like the base. The bottom of the shaft is carved with grooves where the top of the fan blades rested to keep it secure. The shaft has a cross piece with painted on designs similar to the others. The cross piece prevents the shaft from being removed from the bottle.
