Bottle 1459 - Cov-It in a Bottle |
---|
Date Added: 26 December 2020
Annually at Christmas time as a gift for her father, Laura Hagen builds an "It" themed scene in a bottle. This year's bottle is a perfect summation of the biggest event of 2020 - the Covid pandemic. As a play on words for covid and keeping with the "IT" theme, this year's bottle is: "Cov-IT in a Bottle." This bottle contains PPE, personal protective equipment, worn to minimize exposure to hazards that cause illnesses. Included in the bottle is a thermometer for measuring temperature, a ruler with implanted feet for measuring social distancing, toilet paper, rubber gloves, and a mask around the neck of the bottle with the name "Cov-IT" sewn on the mask with green thread (the theme color of Covid) and "In a Bottle" in yellow thread. A lasting bottle that is a fitting reminder of the horrible pandemic of 2020.
