This is a very nicely made scene of the crucifixion. The bottle is dated on a small plaque mounted to the base that reads: "18-8-1933." This is the date the bottle was made: "August 18, 1933." The cross has a holy card cut out of Jesus on the cross with 2 women, also cut from holy cards, at the foot of the cross. The cross is a red/orange color on the front and sides. The back side is painted silver with carved "X's" painted gold. Midway on the cross are carved sections painted in gold. The top and ends of the cross and cross arm are carved and painted gold. A lantern hangs from one side of the cross and a green flail with red binding hands from the other side. The cross sits on a six-legged base painted black. On the base, there are 4 tree poles painted in silver. There is a silver ladder with 4 rungs. There is a silver spear with one of the women glued to this piece and a silver headed mallet on a long gold pole with the other woman glued to it.
