---|
Date Added: 30 September 2015
This is a scene of an older man building a model ship in a Haig dimple bottle. The man is made is sections to fit in the bottle and the artist did a great job hiding the seams. The man is sitting on a stool and he is wearing a red vest sweater over a long-sleeved white shirt. He has on blue trousers and black shoes. He has wonderful facial features and he is wearing wire framed glasses. In one hand he is holding a paint brush and in the other a mast that he is ready to install. The ship is a large three mast ship resting on a stand under the bow. The floor is a red and white checkered pattern. Around the floor is a mallet, wood plane, a bucket of paint, and an anchor.
