Bottle 806 - Canoeing in a Carafe |
---|
Date Added: 09 May 2010
This is a scene of a native American and a frontiersman paddling their canoe down a narrow river with banks on each side. The canoe is made from lead foil and painted to resemble white birch bark. Each figure has a paddle in the hands and their cargo is positioned between them in the canoe. The finished model shows the Indian paddling to starboard and the frontier figure paddling to port. Rocks line the river backs. The bottle is sealed with a cork.
