Bottle 687 - Husband, Wife, Goat and Cow |
---|
Date Added: 08 January 2012
This is a very wonderful and uniquely hand carved wooden scene of a man and his wife standing in front of their house with a goat, cow, and corn stalks. The man shown in blue jeans with a long sleeved red flannel shirt. He is carrying a long tool, perhaps a pick, over his shoulder. His wife is in a long blue dress. A goat, painted brown with a large black area on its back, stands between the man and woman. The house is simply depicted with a large door opening. The cow is white with black spots and has horns. The bottle rests in a custom cradle of wood, dug out to nestle the bottle. On the bottle bottom in raised letters is "Made in USA."
