This crucifixion scene in a bottle has a cast metal figure of Jesus hanging from a decorative black cross with a thin gold lines around the edges. Above the head of Jesus in a plaque with "INRI" on it. Below the figure of Jesus is a skull and crossbones. Behind Jesus' legs are two types of swords crossed with each other. A pulley with hanging rope hangs from one side of the cross and on the other side is a flail. On top of the cross arm are cup-like carvings on each side. At the base of the cross is a chalice in front of the cross, and in front of that are three spikes, and hammer and pliers. There are two very small crosses (approximately 1 inch high) on each side of the main cross symbolizing the crosses of the two thieves. In the very front is the robe of Jesus and a pillar with a roster on top. Behind the cross is a ladder with seven rungs. There is also a spear and long pole with a sponge on top. Other than the main cross, which is dominantly black outlined in gold, and the base, the other objects inside the bottle are painted gold. The bottle is sealed with a wooden stopper with a gold bottom and a gold cross piece going through tit making it impossible to remove the top. On the outside is a pedestal-like carved top in dark wood with a cross.
