Date Added: 01 January 2006

This a scene of the crucifixion built in an "Orange Marvel" soda bottle. The base is filled with diamond like studs. Within the diamond base is a single circle of ruby colored studs. The base begins to mound as it moves to the center of the bottle. The entire cross is covered in silver foil. Across the cross piece of the cross is draped a white cloth in a "V" shape. Jesus is made from a holy card cutout and his head and upper bottle leans forward from the cross. His arms and feet and "nailed" to the cross with a ruby stud to emulate blood coming from the wounds. Above Jesus' head is an INRI plaque cut from a holy card. At the base of the cross are figures of who appears to be Mary, his mother and Mary Magdalene both made from holy card cutouts. In front of the cross are two match sticks, painted white with a silver ribbon tied around the center with a diamond stud. To each side of the matchsticks is a piece of foliage to represent a bush. The bottle is sealed with the original metal cap. On the cap are the words "Orange 'Marvel' Teleric 5-05-75." Around the outter part of the cap are the words: "Embotellada Pur Benjamin Puente" and "Av. De los Pinos -74 Mexico Dt (or DF)" Suspended from the cap are 3 silver springs. One spring is 3" long, another is 3 1/2" long and the final one is 4" long. Each spring has 2 diamond studded balls; one on the bottom and the other near the middle.
