Bottle 165 - Schooner |
---|
Date Added: 01 October 2005
Very well made model of a 2 mast schooner anchored near a town. The ship has masts with 2 sections, shrouds and ratlines. The sails are rolled up on the spars. The deck has 2 cabins and a hatch. Deck planking is indicated. The ship rests on calm waters. In the background is a painted sky with a small town represented. There are profiles of 5 large buildings and a lighthouse. In front of the buildings is like a boardwalk with a "log" like pier with rails and roping. The bottle is sealed with a turned wooden stopper. The neck has a Turks head knot and sealing wax. On the stand is the makers name BBrown with the date of 5/5/02 on one stand and BBrown 02 on the other.
