The four-masted schooner SANTA MARIA MANUELA was built in 1937 on the Estaleiros Navais de Lisboa (Lisbon, Portugal), is 68.64 m long, 9.90 m wide and has a sail area of 1130 sqm. The hull is made of steel, inside a 380 HP Burmeister diesel engine. The bottle neck with a diameter of 2.5 cm made it possible to bring the 1:400 scale ship into the bottle only in two horizontally divided pieces. It is presented on its own stand in the bottle.
