Bottle 975 - Wagon Tracks in the Sand |
---|
Date Added: 18 June 2012
This is a fantastic scene of a Comstock wagon heading west. This covered wagon is being pulled by two oxen with large yokes around their shoulders. A highly detailed carved man is holding the reins to the oxen. The wagon and wheels are made from wood. The wagon is on a wooden floor covered to look like desert or prairie. There is a large green cacti in the end of the bottle with a sun bleached cow skull under it. As wonderful as the scene is inside the bottle is, it continues with a custom stand that continues the western theme. The bottle rests on a tall railed fence with a large wagon wheel leaning against it. Carved in the stand and painted yellow are the following words: "Wagon Tracks in the Sand" and under that "Prairie Schooner." Under the stand is a printed label with the name and address of the artist and written in black pen are the words "U-Neek" and "One-of-a-kind Originals." The artist has signed the bottle in cursive and "Built: February 2011."
