---|
Date Added: 04 October 2012
This chair was made with the legs and the back carved in a tapered, tiered style. There are 3 rungs in the chair back and a single rung is between each of the legs. The chair seat is made from a blue colored loosely woven thread. The bottle is sealed with a wooden shaft with a tamper proof crosspiece making it impossible to remove the stopper. Inside the bottle is a label taped on the glass which reads: "Porter House Café On Hi-Way 66, Elk City, Okla." This bottle is made by R C Axton in a Karo syrup bottle with a patent number on the bottom and on the side the word "Duraglas."
