Date Added: 01 October 2005
Well made and very detailed model of a cutter. The ship has one large mast with a large cloth sail with reef lines. On top the mast is a blue flag with a horizontal elongated yellow cross. The hull is white with red trim and has an anchor with a chain coming from a hole in the hull. The deck has 2 cabins, one lifeboat, a steering rudder. There are other deck details a German flag mounted in the stern of the cutter. The rigging is very detailed and incorporates bead "blocks." The ship sails on a rather rough green sea with many whitecaps. There is a red and green buoy in the water in from of the ship and a nice detailed lighthouse in the rear of the bottle. The bottle is sealed with a rubber stopper. The base has the word "Cutter" on the side and the makers name, date, and location on the bottom of the stand.
