A great all wooden carved yarn winder held together with pegs and wrapped with red yarn. There are 16 individual arms in the winder and the main arms are wrapped with red yarn. Everything is held together with pegs and interlocking pieces. The wooden lid is attached to a wooden stopped that goes down the neck to hold the winder in place. There are three crosspieces going through the wooden stopper making it impossible to remove the lid. On the underside you can see the individual sections and the wording "Don Wimett 1938" penciled on the bottom of the structure.
