This is a very well carved four arm niddy-noddy built in a hand blown bottle from the late 1700's or early 1800's. The arms are delicately carved and are placed on the top and bottom of a center support. A very fine thread is weaved around the arms. There is something written in pencil on the center support but the wording cannot be made out. The bottle is sealed with a wooden stopper and there is a wooden crosspiece going through the stopper inside the bottle making it impossible to remove it. There is a dome shaped carving painted in a mahogany color on top of the stopper. The bottle has many bubbles and there is very pronounced pontil.
