This is a very well made and highly detailed model of a Collingwood Class royal navy destroyer from World War II. It was made while on board ship by seaman David Stephenson who served on the vessel during WW II. He made it in 1942. Mr. Stephenson was from England when he was serving in the Navy. The ships is in military gray with a natural colored wooden deck. It has 10 main guns and there is a navy airplane mid-ship. There are two main smokestacks mid-ship and two masts. The flag of the United Kingdom with the red cross on a white background flys from the stern mast rigging. The ship sail on a calm sea of green.
