Bottle 735 - Merry Christmas |
---|
Date Added: 12 December 2010
This is a very well made chair in the bottle. It is housed in a square Duraglas bottle, 6 inches tall and 2 1/2 square. What is surprising, is that to view the chair head on you are forced to look through an embossing. The bottle has two embossed sides and two unembossed sides. On the three back slats is written Melrose Travlers(sic) and 1977. On the uprights is written Merry Christmas. On the back of the chair, on the top slat is written three names Hollis, Carolyn and Laurie, and on the second slat in written the name Patty (possible for his wife "Patty" and their three children) The seat on the chair is finely woven with red and blue thread.
