Bottle 704 - Ship Wheel |
---|
Date Added: 29 March 2009
This is a great model of a Ship's Wheel built in a round bottle. Made from multiple wooden parts, the wheel was inserted and built inside the bottle. Not easy without the aid of clamps inside the bottle. The wheel is stained in a rich dark brown color which gives a wonderful patina and realistic look. The bottle was well chosen to accentuate the shape and size of the wheel. The bottle is 6 inches tall including cork and 4.5 inches wide. The wheel itself is approx. 3.70" inches diameter. The bottle is sealed with cork and a Turk's Head knot is tied around the neck of the bottle.
