Bottle 674 - Susan Constant, Godspeed, Discovery |
---|
Date Added: 23 November 2008
From the artist, Terry Butler: "The bottles are rather rare Italian airline bottles - Patrician Amaretto - a licorice liquor bottle. You can still find these bottles on ebay from time to time if you know how to look. They were made in two sizes. The shorter one is 4.25" or 11cm. The longer one is 6" or 15cm. The ships are (from largest to smallest): Susan Constant, Godspeed, Discovery. The ships themselves aren't that much larger than my thumbnail."
