Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

This is a model of the famous frigate the "USS Constitution " built in a large halogen light bulb. The ship sails on a sea of blue/green and has a black hull with multiple white gun ports on both sides of the hull. There are also galleys in the stern of the ship painted white. The ship has 3 masts and 121 sails. The bowsprit is in two sections and has a dolphin striker. The deck has several deak features including hatches, cabin and life boat. The bulb rests on a custom made stand for the light bulb. There is a plaque on the stand with the words "USS Constitution" and "Boston."
