Very well made and detailed model showing full hull mounted on a brass pin into a small mount of wood. There are two brass plaques on each side. One side says: "Vidi Mentz, Decker & Co. 1898 - 1903." The other plaque reads "G R T: 384 - L: 46. 09m /B: 7.08m blt..: 1877 Hubeau, Liverpool." The ship has 10 cloth sails with 2 flags. One flag has MD&C on it and the other is striped horizontally blue, white, red. The deck has hatches and cabins with a launch boat. It has detailed rigging with shrouds and ratlines. The bottle is corked and tamper-proofed with rope and a red seal on top and the side.
