Bottle 646 - Vigilant |
---|
Date Added: 23 July 2008
Model based on America's Cup yacht Vigilant from the 1890's. Hull is made of aspen. Deck and trim are made of basswood. This was one of two models made. The bottles of tequila were given as gifts to a friend, who then returned the empties back to me. The empty bottles were re-filled with yachts and then given away as gifts to other friends. This is "Green Technology" at work. Recycling at it's best. Folk Art still has a secure place in the USA.
