Bottle 64 - Pamir
Date Added: 01 October 2005

Wonderfully made and detailed model of the Pamir, a 4 mast steel barque built in 1905and sunk in 1957. This is an electrical wired landscaped model. The ship has outstanding rigging with black shroud lines and white running rigging. There are 33 sails and a banner flying from each mast. The deck has cabins, hatches, a red and green ship light on the bow area and many other features. There are two separate landmasses, one in the front of the bottle and one in the base. Each has 3 triangular like structures, shrubs and a lighthouse. Each lighthouse comes on when wires coming from the neck of the bottle are touched to a 9 volt battery. One light blinks red and the other green. There is also a switch in the cap of the bottle. The ship sails on a relatively calm sea of green. The bottle has a painted inside the bottle sky with floating clouds.
