Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

Instructions from the Artist. "This is a bottle of Elmer's Glue All and a pair of scissors placed in a bottle. The Elmer's glue bottle is small one - 1.25 oz. The labels had to be carefully removed and saved. The bottle had to be emptied and cleaned out. THEN the glue bottle was forced into the opening and reshaped. (heating with hot tap water). I got the glue bottle into a bottle with a smaller opening with my second try, but couldn't reshape it as I had kinked it up so badly and permanently. I Had to try a little larger opening. Even then - it wasn't easy. Took a while to even out the bottle again. More time to refill the glue bottle, add the top and reattach the labels. I added the scissors to fill out the bottle and because I thought they matched nicely. Scissors are taken apart and re assembled inside the bottle. Those were MUCH easier. The bottle is an Ortega Enchilada sauce bottle from Kroger."
