Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

This is a model of the yacht "Beneteau" in a large flask bottle. The original yacht was designed by Groupe Finot. This yacht is painted white with a thin blue line near the top of the hull. There are numerous windows both in the hull and also in the raised cabin area. A double railing goes around the entire deck and extends forward on the bow and has a ladder coming down to a landing deck in the stern. It has a single mast with two sails. The bottle is a large lab flask that is 14" x 8 1/2." It is sealed with a cork and has rope around the neck with a red wax seal and the letters RR on the seal. This model was custom made for an original owner.
