Bottle 1514 - Thomas W Lawson Schooner in a Bottle |

Date Added: 26 October 2022
Thomas W. Lawson. In the history of sailing, there has only been one seven-master: the 140.1 m long Thomas W. Lawson. Built in 1902, the ship, which was rigged as a schooner, sank in 1907 and caused the world's first oil spill. Not a beautiful ship in my opinion, but unique because of the high number of masts. The 1:860 scale model came with individually attachable masts in a 0.7 l gin bottle.
