Ships, Folk Art, and Whimsey in Bottles

This seemed like a nice challenge for the Artist. After he built and painted the chair red, it was built together in the bottle. The chair sits on a wooden planked floor. The cat came from a toy store and was cut into three pieces for mounting on the chair. In the seat of the chair is a white towel with blue stripes which the cat is sitting on. Behind the chair is a window that offers a glimpse of the cat seen from behind the bottle. Children in particular would wonder how the cat crawled into the bottle. Uncle Willem's cat is home again in its familiar place.
