A scene in the middle Rhine Valley near St. Goar. The Middle Rhine is the 130-kilometer section of the Rhine between the mouth of the Nahe near Bingen and that of the victory opposite Bonn. The river valley, where around 450,000 people live, is bordered by Hunsrück and Eifel in the west, by Taunus, Westerwald and Siebengebirge in the east.
