Date Added: 24 January 2016
1890's 2 Masted Ship in a clear Union strap-sided flask , attributed to Wilson P. Deardorff, civil war veteran. Wilson P. Deardorff was born Oct. 31, 1840 & died Dec. 12, 1926. He was a private in the Union Army, 35th Regiment, Ohio Infantry and is documented to have been living at Disabled Volunteer Soldiers home in Leavenworth, Kansas in the early 1900's and was likely there or in another home before then. Almost all of his ships have the same hull (some are cut off at the back & do not round) and the same hand-painted American flag that is sewn onto the rigging line on the mizzenmast, gaff, and the same rigging style.
