This medicine bottle contains a nicely carved wooden fan flanked by two carved figures. The fan spreads out to approximately 210 degrees and the blades are tightly interlocked with a thin brown thread woven between each blade. On each side of the fan's pedestal is a two dimensional figure that resembles a devil with a long tale. The pedestal is carved with raised diamonds on each of the four sides. The bottle is sealed with a cork and has a wooden devil’s trident for a cross piece. D. A Sullivan Druggist Lawrence, Mass in raised letters on the back.
