This is a bottle with a scene of a sailor in a bottle, building a ship in a bottle! The man is standing on a wooden planked floor and is dressed in an old "salt" or sailor attire with black pants, red and white stripped shirt, black hat and smoking a pipe. He stands at a table with a small bottle and a schooner ship inside the bottle. There is a bookcase with books, two doll figures, a ship's hull and rolled up plans under the case leaning against a metal grate coming out from under the bookcase. An old style straw broom leans against the case and rope rope hangs from the side. The bottle rests on a wooden stand that is glued to the bottom of the glass. There is a Turk's Head knot around the neck of the bottle and the bottle is sealed with a cork.
