Bottle 1076 - Bird and Squirrels in a Bottle |
---|
Date Added: 12 February 2020
This is a wonderful example of folk art by Amish Artist, Amos L. Beiler. The bottle contains a woodland scene showing what could best be described as a dogwood tree with 24 light and dark wood blossoms and 7 colorful leaves. There is a large bird in the center of the scene and two squirrels facing each other at the base. On the back of the base is the name of the artist, "Amos Beiler" written in pencil. The bottle is sealed with a decorative glass top with cork bottom.
