Bottle 1055 - Dutch Windmill in a Bottle |
---|
Date Added: 21 March 2013
Where the legend of the wind was caught and bottled! This is a scene of an operational Olde Dutch Windmill in bottle. This Windmill actually did in fact function inside the bottle until the wiring was pulled out by an unsupervised child while it was on display. It was built a few years back and there is a YouTube video you can see showing it in operation at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yAyL8DKYIo. The whole assembly was done inside a clear 1 gallon bottle vase. A Marklin transformer for model trains ran power to the motor.
