Maine lobster boat from a plan in magazine "Scale Wood-Craft", Spring and Summer 1986. The ship's hull is carved from 2 pieces of white oak doweled together. It has mahogany and bass wood veneer. The lobsters, pots, and buoys are brass for HO scale layouts. The man is also an HO figure. The picture is of a scene in Cape Porpoise, Maine. The bottle has a Turks head knot around the top and is sealed with a cork.
