Many Greetings from Bavaria
Date Added: 01 October 2005
A very Unique "City in a Bottle" with the original Wooden stand that reads" Many Greetings from Bavaria." It is a scene of a small German Town in Bavaria with many buildings, hills, landscape, roads and more. There is a church with a tall steeple with a cross on the top. There are 13 other very detailed buildings scattered in town an on the hillside. There is a river coming down from the hill with a bridge over it. Along the river are depicted logging and sawmill operations. It is a very detailed and delightful scene that is well done. The bottle sits on a cream colored stand that has the wording "Many Greetings from Bavaria." This is presumably a tourist item from the late 1940's or early 1950's.
