Cathedral of San Basiglio in a Bottle
Date Added: 14 April 2021
The container, shaped like an onion, contains 18 liters. The model consists of over 70 pieces in lacquered beech wood with tempera in various colors and has been inserted through the 36 mm hole. I want to emphasize that this, like all my "works", is equipped with a support base that enhances and enhances the finished object. The Cathedral of San Basiglio was erected in the Red Square in Moscow between 1555 and 1651 by the will of Ivan IV, its particular shape recalls the flames that rise to the sky and since 1990 it is included as a World Heritage Site in the UNESCO list.
