The Calhouns
Date Added: 09 June 2011
This is a four figure bottle whimsey,. It is of a Cincinnati family., the Calhoun's. Glen, the dad, was a stay at home dad. Harper, the girl in the peace shirt, was my daughter's best friend while my family was in Cincinnati. While my family was visiting Cincinnati, Glen displayed horrible artistic taste, he liked my bottles, I told him I'd make one of his family. The bottle is titled the Calhouns. Glen the father, is playing a guitar, wearing a silver sparkle suit and a blue bow tie with white polka dots. He is also wearing a pair of glasses and has his ever present halo. Christie, the wife and mother, has a pitch fork in the American Gothic style. She wears matching a white tee shirt and flip flops with blue and red polka dots. Her hair is red and there might be two small horns, maybe not, I'm not sure. Harper, the taller girl, has a cell phone and stylish white boots. Ella, the small child, has a pink shirt and a heart on it. She is playing her Nintendo DS. Below the hardwood floor is a Coral snake. The stopper is made of Walnut with a half sphere of maple on the top. The Calhouns is inlaided into the stopper. From the locking mechanism are three smiley face stars. A sign is secured to the floor, on which is printed: MAY THE HEAVENS CONTINUE TO SMILE UPON YOUR FAMILY.
