New Orleans
Date Added: 13 May 2006
This is a very interesting ship in a bottle with "New Orleans" written on the hull. This was probably a souvenir model sold to tourists many years ago. The model resembles an islander type yacht and is built in the bottle in several sections. It is displayed as a whole hull model with multiple decks with wood railings. There are 3 masts, each with a single large sail. There is rigging that goes from stern to bow on the top and bottom of each sail. The bow has the "New Orleans" on each side. The bottle is 10 3/4" 2 3/4" and is a marked "Pedro Domeco, Mexico."
