Bottle 797 - Picture Frame and Easel in a Bottle

Date Added: July 7, 2022
This bottle contains a large gold painted easel with a gold frame with a picture of a young boy and girl. The attractive children are dressed in period clothing from perhaps around 1910 or 1920. The boy is wearing knickers and a formal dress coat and the girl is in a patterned dress and overcoat. The easel and frame are impressively large in a tall one galleon bottle with a very slight green tint. The bottle measures 14 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" in diameter. There is some excess glue showing on parts of the easel and bottle. The picture looks very good in the frame but is slightly away from the frame in the upper left. The bottle is beautifully sealed with a wooden plug that has a gold cube hanging from the bottom part inside the bottle. There is a gold crosspiece going through the plug making it impossible to remove the top. Gold cubes hang from each side of the crosspiece. A darker rounded top is outside the bottle.
