Bottle 54 - Salmaljer

Date Added: October 1, 2005
Signed and dated woodworking tools in a bottle. Signed on a piece of wood inside the bottle “26.7 1960. Salmaljer." The items include the signed piece that has a hook on one end, A draw plane with metal and wood handles. There is an very well done axe with a single painted blade. Te most difficult piece is a crossbow saw stretched with rope and a metal saw blade pinned in each end of the saw. Finally, there is a large wood draw knife bench with a knotted stop on one end that would rest on the ground and the other end having two wood legs to create a tripod style piece of wood for shaving. The bottle is sealed with a carved wood top that has wood pegs both in the bottle and at the outside top which prevents the wood cork from being removed.
