Bottle 1396 - Uncle Sam in a Bottle

Called "Uncle Sam," this whimsey in a bottle has a patriotic theme. There are three spheres, one inside the other. The outer sphere is painted red, the middle is white and the inner sphere is painted blue. The spheres are compressed inside the bottle and held into position by a gold painted wooden stopper with a gold crosspiece making it impossible to get inside the bottle. Compressed they open up to reveal a carved figure of a saluting Uncle Sam painted in his red and white trousers, blue jacket, red bowtie, long white beard, and a tall top hat striped with red and white with a band of stars above the brim. Above and to the back of Uncle Sam is a wooden star painted in a red, white, and blue patriotic theme. The bottle has a label at the top of the stopper inside the bottle that reads: "Greg Alvey - 2019, Owensboro, Kentucky."
